normal and epic artefacts

Hi!
Maybe someone knows... Are epic artefacts always made of ingredients found in epic mode? Or could it require an artefact made in normal mode to create an artefact by arcane formula found in epic???

You can find Greater Artifact formulas in Normal (a few anyway) and same for Divine Artifact formula in Epic. The Greater formulas found in Normal did not require ingredients from Epic, best as I can recall.

Yeah, but what I wanted to know, was the other way round. Would I need lesser artefacts from normal to create greater artefacts in epic?
I ask because I reinstalled windows and all the artefacts and formulae I stored at caravan guy are lost. I'm in the end of act I in epic and wouldn't want to replay normal mode just to get those lesser artefacts...

Yes, Greater Artifacts often (but not always) require Lesser Artifacts as part of the ingredients.
