Will I be gimping myself? STR-DEX Q

I've never played past normal and was just wondering, will I be gimping myself too bad if I go 1:1 STR-DEX with my Templar (Defense + Dream)? I plan on maxing armor handling, so STR requirements shouldn't be a problem. I really want to have a high dex for the increased DA.

Probably a bit yeah. You really need the strength for raw damage and armour (not as big an issue with armour handling). If you do get yourself a thorny maul it wont be as drastic due to the high pierce.

Maybe aim for something more sedate like 2Str : 1Dex? Or even 3:2...

U need 385 dex, thats enough for stonebinders cuffs and the best spears in the game.
