When you trigger an offhand attack with your dual wield skill, is it an "instant" attack or does the speed of the weapon come into factor?

Thanks in advance.

off hand attack? What do you mean?

Like when you attack with the weapon in your left hand only?

It averages your attack speeds. and uses that for your attacks.

No, I am talking about the "Dual Wield" skill where you have two weapons -- one weapon in your main hand and one in your "other" hand. When the Dual Wield skill goes off (procs), is the speed of your offhand weapon factored in or is the second attack "instant?"

when a Dual wield proc goes off. Both weapons are used in one attack.

The right hand is calculated first then the left.
But it is one attack.

Ahh okay, great! So the speed of the secondary weapon DOES matter -- essentially the speed of both weapons is averaged out. Do I have that right?

Yes
Slow mace+ Sabertooth= Not so bad...

I use a Sabertooth with a HUGE speed bonus on it on top of everything else with my Harbinger. I have maxed attack speed. It's nice
