I love Atlantis as well. I found that it gave a lot of new possible plotlines compared to SG1 which, lets face it, was running out. In some ways I am glad that they ended SG1.

I am a big cloud of :rockon: today.

I managed to get all of my work done in an hour which left time for a long bike ride. When I had returned from that my parents and sister were out visiting family members. This gave me free run of dads computer (and no distractions) so i managed to get TQ:IT installed and working and it fixed the graphics problems, crashing and lagging that we were otherwise getting.

Yeah, it's my damn work filter. :mad:

I should clarify that I will be doing my own framing for my game room only. Everything else in house I'm not allowed to touch. :(

I came up with an awesome idea and it worked great the one time I tried it. I actually sold that one to a friend. Right now I'm just collecting everything I need to finish off my ideas then maybe next summer I'll take some time off and finish the room. I cant wait. It's gonna be sick.

LOL. Yeah, my wife is pretty picky too ;) Most of the frames in the "important" rooms were all bought with the pictures. :evil:

No overhead lights, just task lights. False ceiling is being made with holes drilled for white Christmas lights to poke through. I though about doing some constellations but too time consuming, maybe later. All walls painted flat black, including the window glass. Stereo system and TV I've got covered. False raised floor (to run cables under) with indoor/outdoor carpeting. All posters game/sports/movie related and back lit. Some other small stuff is being worked out in my head.

Edit: JMD, I'd probably take you up on that. The way I work is build as much as I can and "pre-stage" it all. Then one day just start thrashing until it's all knocked out. This one will take some time and might actually have to wait as we are thinking about moving closer to my work. It will happen one day.

Absolutely. I usually go so far as to draw plans out, make a materials list, etc. Of course it all comes in handy when I have to make my "presentation" to the wife. :rolleyes:

Yep, that's actually a good way to do it, in my opinion. (I'm going to do the same thing, more or less, when I start work on my "war room".) It'll help to, having an idea of what kind of space you'll have should you move. Either way though, it does sound suuweet! :rockon:

I just have to BS mine into thinking my idea wont cost that much. I've got the whole presentation thing down, I just do it. :lol: She always gets made and I have to remind her about the other ideas shes hated until they were finished. For the first time in over two years, I started playing Diablo 2. Made it all the way to the jungle (Kurast) before getting killed for the first time. TQIT has definitely improved my playing ability.

Thinking about getting it...It's quite good. A better part of it is softer music but they've got a few really heavy tracks as well. If you've got the extra cash I recommend getting it (along with all their other albums :p).

It's not that Gene, Nightwish tries to blend "pretty music" with metal and they fail on both ends. If I had a choice i'd rather listen to Lacuna Coil atleast their music blends well.

As for Lacuna Coil, I just recently started listening to their music (a couple months ago I got one of their older albums as a birthday present). I don't think they're bad at all, though I still like Nightwish more. :p

I killed Diablo on the first try in Diablo 1. Haven't played it in years. I used to have to run all over the place while he chased me. I would get big loads of healing potions and drop them off so I could snatch them. This time I just stood there and beat him to death.
