I got my meat shield pet, but I still die very easily, should I stray my int points for a bit and put them into HP?

1: Do you die because your meat shield dies?
2: Do you die because you pull mobs before your meat shield attacks?
3: Do you die because you don't kill the mobs fast enough that you accidentally pull before your meat shield?

Solution 1: Buff your meatshield. Spend more skill points into him.
Solution 2: Set your core dweller to Agressive. Wait one second after he locks on to a mob and hits it. Then attack.
Solution 3: Either do solution 2, or buff your attack spells. (Run next to your CD, spam AoE's for more effect.

Edit: And to answer you. 200 more points into HP (Like four levels of stat points) Saves you for another hit. Bravo? Keep to int :)

I think it may be my lack of resist. I get one hit by that scorpian on the first domain level. How do you jack up resist in normal? =/

Scorpion? If you are in the Tower of Judgment, the "poison mob" there would be Cerberus, but he's a dog. Well, a large dog! Poison there can kill you almost instantly. Stay away from the cracks on the ground, move out of the dark green poodle on the floor (not always there), and mind the green breathe. Still, my ritualist died there too until I got my poison resistance to 80 or 90. It's easy: shop for rings and amulets with +poison resist, use monster charms and relics that have poison resist (can buy some yellow helm or armour with poison resist and slap the charm/relic on it), and make one of the low level artifacts with +poison resist. Even doing only some of these things will greatly help. You'll do less damage and perhaps feel a little gimped, but it's just for this one encounter -- and as long as you're alive, you can fight.

Yes, I agree with Cironir. Gimping 100 DPS just so you can pump Poison up to 90-100 is exactly what you want to do. You can't pump out that 100 extra dps if you're dead (from no resists) so shop around, pick up your yellows and examine them. ( xxx "of the Protector") Is the resist mod :)
