How exactly does this skill work?
Does it only do bonus damage on the 4th swing?
It says it has 3 charge levels, but what is the point of that?
Does it have to be 4 hits on the same mob?

It will proc every fourth attack, and it does not need to be the samae mob. Doesent appear to fade with time either if you dont use the 4th attack a while after getting the 3 first charges :)

As Armada mentioned, every fourth attack. It does fade after 10 seconds or so though :).

Thanks. So how would you compare this with onslaught?
I am considering a warfare/rogue build, and I can't decide which one I should use as my main attack.
Also, does the lucky hit modifier have a 33% chance to proc. on every swing of calculated strike, or only the 4th swing?

I'm wondering this myself. 33% for each hit isn't bad, but if it's just a 33% chance on each 4th hit then the skill kind of sucks.

Personally, Onslaught should be your "main" attack period. The additional modifiers it has (damage resist, hamstring, and ardor).
Imo, Calc Strike is only mildly useful against bosses and such, in which cast I prefer Lethal Strike.

I'm not an assassin, so onslaught isn't an option.
As far as lucky hit, does anyone have an answer for the original question regarding that?

I am glad you re-raised that question. I am still curious about it. Here it is again:

The answer is very easy ,you just have to learn to read.Lucky hit only procs on calculated strike hit, which is every fourth strike. This might suck for a guy that uses only one weapon, but for 2 weapon guy calculated s. procs a lot so the chance is bigger than for a 1weapon guy.

Why the jerky comment? The answer is about more than "learning to read", since I've read the manual AND the strategy guide and neither one is explicit.
Look at page 23 of the strategy guide. 2nd paragraph from the top. It does not say if lucky hit procs on every swing of calculated strike, or only the fourth one. Hence, this question and this thread (and incidentally, I'm not the only person who was wondering about this).
This, like many other abilities, could be MUCH better explained and documented.
Comments like "learn to read" and "RTFM" just make the person who writes that look like an immature jerk. If that's you, then enjoy.

Do u have that game installed?..yes u do...when u go over the icon over calculated strike what does it say?.."""every fourth strike gives u blablabla""...and lucky hit says something like "gives 33% on each calculated strike" or somthing like that, and then we come to conclusion ,since calculated strike isnt every hit ,instead its every fourth and the lucky hit says it procs on every calculated strike(calculated strike= hitx4,lucky hit=calculated strike). Its common sense wouldnt u agree?
....edit...i've just read carefully the talent tree, and u r right.I thought that every fourth hit is called calculated strike, but instead it says that that every hit is calculated strike and fourth strike only give extra dmg.I really thought every fourth is called calculated strike, since it actually does something instead of normal attack. If every attack is called calculated strike that would mean that each attack has a chance of luck hit proc. Its either that or someone from the programers made a little mistake ;).

I'm going to be nice and let your sarcastic comments slide, since you did admit you were wrong below :).

That is exactly the source of my confusion. All 4 swings are "calculated strikes", but the 4th one piles on the damage. So it is logical to conclude that lucky strike can kick in on ANY of your calculated strike swings. If so, that's great. If not, its kinda so-so.
