View Full Version : Good day people of Titan Quest

This is my FIRST sojourne into online forums and I appologize in advance if I am posting in the wrong place. I wanted to know of the BEST place to farm for bows. GOOD BOWS!! I am looking for something sufficient for me to contine in Legendary. Tried at that difficulty and its just IMPOSSIBLE...especially getting killed by BOARS on Act 1! I read the Parnasses runs are the way to go. I am using the original game with (V1.20) and am a level 47 hunter/spirit character. I have an incredible number of legendary swords etc. but NO bows of any note. There is NO way to import my character into an online game is there? (Likely a stupid question, but like I said I am BRAND NEW to all this) Thanks in advance for any help. And another question... shouldnt killing the HARDEST bosses give the best loot? Ive farmed Telkien (did I spell that right?) and gotten moderate stuff at best :(

Welcome to the forums!

You can play online with your characters in single player and I've found alot of bows doing the parnassus runs, just don't give up :)

And normally you get better drops from majestic chests than end bosses, at least this is my experience.

I have a couple of bows I can't use, if I list them you can pick the one you want.
You would have to update to v1.30 though.

And, of course, welcome to the group.

That sounds GREAT except for one stupid thing. I CANNOT get online for some reason. When I attempt it starts a download for the latest patch....to v1.30 and says it cant complete it as I need version 1.20. I AM VERSION 1.20! Then it crashes... :( WTF?

I lied...Borealis is the better bow I think....still downloading the patch...is the internet broken? SO SLOW!

SWEET! I sure need the extra kick. Legendary is fun...I just need the right gun for those tough monsters.

Haha, nice.

You'd have to mount them both to a rifle stock like crossbows and have a couple baby Eurynomus pull them back for you.

I got three different legendary bows off the gorgons in the pythian caves yesterday.(the boss ones not the regular ones) Try them if you need bows.

Edit: after about 20 runs.

I had this same problem. I performed a clean un-install of the game and a fresh re-install and it fixed everything. Your characters will still be intact and this will make sure nothing is amiss in your computers registry.

why does the game insist on pachting up when you go online ? even if you host the game ? surely there are people out there still with 1.20 , that could join a game ?

in bF2 you can find an online game using just about all of the many patches the game has had issued :D
