View Full Version : Bugged Legendary Item?

Finally got a new tank/str based item from Hades, and it has less armor value than the old ones, and yes its a high end, not a low one.

Gauntlets of The Necrolord : 450 armor, requires level 49 and 590 str (which makes it a high end item)

The old high end legendary tank/str based items have 492 Armor and requires level 40-42 and 525 str.

I have found another high end Legendary tank item with 615 Armor, same requirements as the Necrolord Gauntlets, so i can't see why they would have 450 (less than old ones) but same requirements as the other new 615 armor legendary tank items.

Any dev able to confirm this as an error? Or are they really meant to be worse than the old items, yet have higher requirements ?

what are the stats?

As you can see here there's nothing megauber special about the stats to make them have less armor value tbh, there are plenty of old items that match that with lesser requirements, i can't see these as being not supposed to have 615 armor.

Off topic a bit.... but damn I could really use those gauntlets about now. You were farming legendary Hades correct?

I don't know a whole lot about the subject, but the leeches seem to be a good enough reason to lower the armor a bit.

4% is not worth dropping 165 armor on, specially with only 10% attackspeed on em. Resists and skills are decent, but that's it. You really really want high armor and pierce in act 4, so can't see why they should have 450 and not 615. High end IT drops should be better, and the other legendary items are. And yes they dropped from Hades on Legendary.

Oh, I meant the 53%/54% life/energy leech.

Yeah and +1 all skills on Gaunts?!!? I'll take 2. Er.. 1 for each hand :P

Well, the set is for necro-something. That would imply that it is designed for a character that has Spirit-mastery And since spirit mastery characters aren't supposed to be pure tanks(?), then the armor for them isn't as good as the armor designed for pure tanks.

It might seem a little far fetched, but that is my take on the matter.
