Is Marksmanship supposed to change the way ranged attacks work? I can click on empty space and it fires.
I much prefer the way the standard bow attack works (like Diablo). It fires if I click on an enemy. If I want to just fire in a direction, I have to hold down the shift key. Maybe it's because I have standard bow attack on the left (movement) button, and marksmanship on the right?
Anyway, both attacks are bugged for me. I can snap off a quick shot ok, but if I stand in place and have to fire multiple times at an enemy (holding down the mouse button), it always ends up shooting an extra arrow (sometimes it seems like 2) after I am no longer pressing the mouse button. I have looked carefully, and it's not that the shoot animation has already started. I see an arrow flying, I release the mouse button, and then it starts an additional shot where I don't want it, which delays aiming my next shot where I actually want it to go. This is not an occasional problem -- it happens everytime for me. The only way I can prevent it is to not hold down the mouse button (snap off quick shots) or constantly move (movement prevents the additional shot from happening). It makes the whole ranged control seem very sloppy to me. No problems with melee attacks.
