I was playing with a friend earlier, and the following happened:
We were showing each other our items that we used, and had the window open with all our stuff in there. Then we started putting them back on, and my friend realised that he could not equip his shield, because his requirements had been lowered due to items being worn, and the shield granted a bonus to the one requirement he needed to wear with. Catch 22, without the shield on, he didn't get the bonus to meet the requirements, and couldn't wear it. So, I noticed it kept re-appearing in the trade window. I went to ask him what was wrong, and accidentally closed the trade window by mistake. His item did not appear in his inventory, or mine. It just disappeared. Lost forever.
So, just FYI on that.
