Best Buy exclusive armor?

Has anyone tried the exclusive armor set that you
get by pre-ordering from Best Buy?

I'm planning on purchasing IT this week -- I might even
stop by Best Buy on the way home tonight and pre-order it,
but only if the exclusive armor set is good.

My characters:

Photon, lvl 58 hammer & shield Conqueror in Act III Legendary
Farslayer, lvl 65 bow Avenger in Act III Legendary
Gaia, lvl 50 pet Summoner in Act I Legendary
Xuxa, lvl 42 Oracle in Act II Epic (retired after patch 1.20 killed Ternion)

the sunday bestbuy paper said you can get a download for the armor after you buy the game.
you don't have to preorder the game.
the paper said the game will be available after 2:00 pm tuesday 3-6-07.

Tried the sets when they leaked the codes onto the internet. Can't say they were impressive. However, I guess you could improve them by adding some relics, but not much. Any epic stuff is better than thoes sets.

The Shinobi Shozoku is one mean looking set. I'd love to get my hands on it for my Assassin... Too bad the stats are so crappy:(

Is it available in the game, or is there some catch, like with Armor of the Merchant??

I pre-ordered from Best Buy a couple weeks ago and saw no mention of an exclusive download. According to their website it's in-game. What am I missing for my "free" armor. Also, can these actually be sold? Based on the previous screen shots, my current character armor is better. I wouldn't mind the extra gold though.

I just bough my copy from best buy and when you open your box a little leaflet falls out and tells you how to get them. The Shinobi set looks bad ***, so I think I'll mod it to mah liking, considering those stats are crap.

You just need to enter the code, anyone can get them. Codes are posted somewhere around here.

Have you tried equipping either of those sets? Perhaps the set completion bonuses make up for the individual items' shortcomings.
