Hi, I got Titan Quest about a week ago and I'm currently enjoying it. I have a lvl 20 Warrior, but I'm wondering what's a "good" second mastery choice. I understand it's subjective to what one's playing style is, but I want one that gives the least amount of problems in Epic and Legendary.
I have my mastery maxed out along with Onslaught and Ignore Pain, 6 points in Dodge, and 2 points in Summon Ancestral Ghosts.

Thanks for the suggestion, but now I need to know Shield or Dual Wielding? Could anyone give me a good build of either (or both)?

Defense should always be shields. If you like dual wielding, go slayer or assasin.
This guide is pre 1.20 but changes is not much so you can still play around and respec to your playstyle.

Hi,
Look over here: http://www.titanquest.net/forums/spirit/11371-spellbreaker-am-i-right.html
This worked well for me! :]
As Maul said, if you decide to go with Defence - nothing beats the shields!!

If your doing a Conqueror I would definitely go the sword/shield route. It really depends on what style you like to play. Conqueror IMO benefits greatly with a shield because of all those passive abilities and shield smash. Don't bother with Batter though, just put points in Shield Smash, Disable and Pulverize. The percentages may look low but believe me they proc a lot more than you would think. Good luck.

Shield is perfect, but why Sword? For shields to trigger faster?

Yes my shield procs seem to fire off faster with a sword vs. other weapons (club, axe). Although I am still fairly new to the conqueror itself, so there may be a better weapon preferred. I suppose if you went with concussive blow clubs would be a great alternative with a Whomper. Although I heard a lot about this Thorny Maul...

Aye, swords are faster but Clubs are generally better for Conqueror.. :]
You'll see for yourself later on..
Concussive blow also lengthens all stun durations which is great defense of Conqueror.. :]

I believe (from experience) that the stun length of warhorn is not influenced by the concussive blow skill when using a sword.
Personally I like swords better, and the higher the attack speed, the more shield procs, which rocks. I don't like dual wielding either I only have one point in there so I can wield 2 onagers for health regen ;)

YOU NEED TO EQUIP CLUBS TO USE CONCUSSIVE BLOW PROPERLY!! :]

I know, I thought I read something about warhorns stun length being affected as well. Now I have taken points out of CB.
