i cant make freakin custom maps

yea hey guys. i was wondering if any of u can help me???
i cant make custom maps for some reason.
u no when it pops up ur suppose to click on new map n the toturial 1.
well i cant do that cause all thats there is none, thats it.
so when i put in my own maps name to make one the screen it black n i cant see the map n that is really pissin me off. > (
im about to throw my game across the room so please some one have an answer for this???

wrong forum and.. try the -><- button, make sure you make a new terrain grid or whatever first

it'll then bring up another window that actually resembles an editor. hope this is the right thing you were looking for.

The tutorials don't seem to be installed by default, but you can install them yourself. Start the art manager and go to Help->Install Tutorials

As far as just seeing black when you start your own map, you first have to add the land. Go into the editor and go to Region->Add New Terrain to add some.
