I have a original, paid copy of the game, and I'm trying to play with a buddy that doesn't. Is this possibly why I don't see any games when we connect to the same hamachi server? Same happens when I get to the Trades servers, evryone is connected, I can ping them ok but I don't see any games in the browser. Are there any port I need to open? Any other setup I need to check? I have no firewall's besides the one from my Dsl modem.

Well, apart from stating the obvious, "Tell him to buy the game!!!", there is a chance that he cannot update the game to the same version as yours.

I guess its a firewall problem, cuz anytime I had connection probs with hamachi it was just cuz of the firewall
As for ports to open I never paid attention to them, you can however:
1)sniff the traffic
2) use a program called tcpview (it monitors udp connections as well) and look for tcp connections in Time-Wait.
Then open the relative ports on your Firewall

unfortunatelly, the game is not available in some countries, so some people only chance is to run an illegal copy.....
(and NOT, in Amazon you cant buy things if you are in some countries either)
Now, back to the Post:
Can you play online without hamachi?
i mean, if you can, then is not a TQ-Ports problem.... and if you can see other players conected in an hamachi network, then is not a problem of hamachi ports either...
other option is to use the same "Work-Group" (right click on MyComputer, then go to Network Identification Tab)... because i think you have to be in the same workGroup to be visible inside a Lan. Then, Run hamachi....

What hamachi does is creating a VPN so Work Group is totally unecessary.

I've played internet and lan/hamachi games. I know some of the people I've played with on Hamachi don't have a good key, but since they're running version 1.20, it doesn't matter.
Make sure you're all running the same version of the game, as legit users are forced to upgrade whenever a patch it released. Hacked players are not.
On your end, if you're using the Windows Firewall, make sure the firewall isn't being applied to the specifc Network Connection that Hamachi has created on your machine.

Hamachi, my friend, is a small program that allows you to create a LAN (Local Area Network) among different computers over internet...
The idea is this, instead of having a Lan Party in your house with your friends taking their computers, run Hamachi and you can have your Lan Party Over internet....
And... if you want to talk with your friends while playing, just download and install a program called "roger-wilco" ... it works very similar to hamachi, but is for hearing/speaking using headphones/mic.

Eh, I see, although I'd rather use TS or Vent rather than that crap system. But thanks for the info.

For everyone who cant see the hosted LAN game.
1) Try older version of hamachi. Ironically 1.0.1.1 works better than any later for me.
2) If the hamachi connection seems ok (green button) and you still dont see one another, the game is maybe confused which one from two networks (regular or hamachi) to connect to .. so to resolve this follow the steps below:
1.run hamachi ...
2.disable normal internet connection, let hamachi enabled. (hamachi will lost its connection too but it doesnt mind).
3.start the game then go into the LAN lobby
4.alt - tab back to windows, enable your internet, let hamachi reconnect or do it manually, go back into the game .. Voila your game should be there.
This forces the game to use hamachi as its network adapter ( works for 99 % of the games )
Works for me :)
