How To Do High Dmg??

i would like to know.. how can i do like 16k of dmg???
cause i saw an screenshot of a char which had 15k~16k of dmg and dps....
how do i do that.... i know that weapons and ekips helps... but 16k??!

Using high quality weapons (legendaries or good socketed greens), investing mostly in strength, and using items that add to total damage. Could you show me the screen?

well... its a paladin screen but i think it will be fine...

I think I know. Really high strength, good gear, and Thorny Maul. Also, the attack speed will affect it. The DPS is really high because he can strike often. You can tell he also focused on damage dealing gear from his resistances. There's your answer.

is thorny maul such a great iten?? cause im playing legendary difficulty now... and i havent found many legendary itens as i expected....

Awesome weapon, everybody dual wields it (when they can) with Sapros the Corrupter. The only mace that could be better than Thorny. Everybody wants it.

EDIT: I myself think that Scepter of the Shadowlord would be better . . .

if i prefer dmg over resistance... what gear should i wear?? cau u post a few for me plz?

I'm not an expert. Check out Game Banshee for epic and legendary items, but I recommend you look around the forums for info on Monster Infrequents, or MIs. They can be socketed and are coveted.
