Harbinger - How high DPS?

Hi!

I'm new here. Today I finished normal difficulty with my Harbinger lvl40. I wonder, how high should my DPS be at this point? I only have items collecting in this game on normal (not imported from higher lvl characters). I have 2 green magical weapons with bonuses to damage and attack speed and have them relic'd with also bonuses to these. My DPS is about 600. Is it ok? Or too low? Is my strength/dexterity good balanced?

600 with or without Onslaught at full charge? Either way it's looking good.

600 without Onslaught charged.
Act 4, the Palace of Hades was a bit difficult. If I hadn't Phantom Strike, I would be dead a lot of times Also archers in that location were very harmful to me. My HP went down very fast.

Act 4 from the mega-machae camp on was tougher for my harbinger as well. It's just tougher than the previous acts. That's when I had to start learnig about pierce resistance and actually playing with something beyond caveman strategy--"grog go here. grog kill everything. FOOOOOLLLLGGG!!!!"

But, enjoy it while it lasts. It just gets easier from here on out. :/

I played some time on epic, got epic charms and runes, new artifacts and found new epic unique sword and my DPS growth up to 1800!!! Now it is playing! Now I can feel that harbinger was good choice

Phew i am player a Melee Diviner and
my DPS isnt very close to yours but i havent finished normal yet but i thought my character sucked for a Second :P

I gave up on a melee diviner because there wasn't any equipment to get excited about. All the diviner stuff seems to be for casters.

Now I've got my harbi on 62 lvl, being in act 4 on legendary about 6500 DPS without Onslaught and Dual Wield. One of DW skills is activating more often than every second attack, so real DPS is much higher! I'm still looking for Pendant of Immortal Rage

What skill should I get next? Ancestral Horn? War Horn? Battle Rage tree?

WHOA, 62 already? Damn that was fast.

I would recommend war horn and its synergy. The synergy especially is awesome.

My gf tried ancestral horn (I never did with my harbinger), and those dudes suck. But, we're really biased because we really hate that quest where you have to drag those ghost soldiers around, so every time she summoned them, we'd sort of groan.

And battle rage is a good tree and all, but it doesn't seem like it activates enough.
