So which one would be better? I do like the PT tree because of the AoE effect but is Onslaught really that much better?
Could use some input fairly new to the game but it seems like PT's bonus at higher levels is better than Onslaught would be. Also, why does everyone seem to like Phantom Strike + Dream stealer as opposed to Warwind for quick dash ins? |

If you're dual wielding, you hit every monster with both your weapons, plus you move faster than with PS. I still prefer PS however.

Ok, I do see the usefulness of PS now, I didn't quite get the AoE effect. Plus you can reset fast moving groups of mobs by dissapeaering so that's helpful in itself.
I think I was overcome with giddiness by Warwinds animation ![]() I haven't selected my second mastery yet. Though, with my new found info about onslaught, it looks like most of my points are going into Warfare, if I only plan on taking PS + DS and the trance, do you think it'd make a better choice to pick a different secondary that I might take more advantage of, now that Psionic Touch is out of the picture |

Dream has a lot of useful skills. Lucid Dream tree for example - should be maxed, sometime by end of epic at most.
Distort reality and distortion wave are also both very nice skills. You should get at least one of them.

Distort reality 1 point and Temporal rift more (and max it for the end game).
Distortion wave is a one pointer (although the 3rd synergy can have some more points in normal) -> the best thing about distortion wave is the 50% slow

Onslaught really is that much better than Psionic Touch.
Also, max PS and its synergy, and put one point into Warwind, also one into Lacerate if you're using a bladed weapon. Having more than one multi attack never hurts. Use Warwind to dash in and use PS when you're surrounded.

Distortion wave is kind of like all or nothing. If you decide to go for it then max it all (and fast), otherwise don't bother investing more than 1 point in the base skill or none at all.

I have them all Warwind,PS,Distort Reality. For on high levels 60 above skills points are abundant sometimes you don't know where to put them cause the essential skills are already maxed..Onslaught owns Psionic Touch by a mile.
