Slayer. Onslaught Or Markmanship?

Is it worth putting points on Markmanship or should I just use Onslaught when using a bow?

Just thought I would ask...

Bow Slayer? This is very strange...

Well, any char that use bows must slowly max Marksmanship and use its sinergies.
Without Scatter Shot you will have no AOE.

No, no, no... lol not bow Slayer....

Versitile Slayer! Continually switching weapons in combat. For example if there are enemies running towards me I switch to bow and pick them off. If any reach me I switch to dual weild and kill them. very fun to see how many you can pick off before they get to you...

I was just wondering if instead of maxing Markmanship I could max Onslaught and save some points? Would this still have a similar effect on the damage my bow would do? Or should I just get both?

the onslaught line provides for hamstring who slows enemy movement so that is very useful for a bow user although if you are a dedicated bow user then markmanship is more useful...

I do not think that you would have enough skill points to max ur skills properly if you invest in the marksmanship line as well as the onslaught line so my preference is to use the onslaught line which seems to have a heavier usage

He would have enough to max Weapon Training, Dual Wield line, Onslaught Line, Study Prey line, Marksmanship line and Wood lore at least...

Honestly he rocks! but the only problem is Typhoon...

Took me ages to kill him because I couldn't get close to him. So I took all my points off the Markmanship tree and fired them on Take down and study prey... I was desperate...

Don't have a good enough bow so Im keeping the points on take down at the moment. Using onslaught for both dual wield and spear.

Dual wield for mobs- spin attack and hew.

Spear for bosses- 300% movemnt charge and high damage.

Need a good lvl 30 bow!

But you wouldnt get the passing through of the arrows... If you really wanted to be a super star you could run both at the same time. Charge your onslaught and use that as a bonus when you fire your marksmenship. Of course there goes right and left mouse buttons... Not to mention the ineffiency...
