Default My god awful spellbreaker

Hello everyone!

This is my first build, a spellbreaker, and currently i'm @ lvl31 in olympus trying to kill typhoon.

After browsing the forums i have come to think my spellbreaker is just not that good. ill elaborate on some of his abilities:
Dual Wielding 2 green sabers of feasting with 41-46 dmg each.
thats an average dmg of 137, attack speed of 114 and a DPS of 155
Base stats are:
health 400
energy 300
str 202
int 58
dex 138

Now, i need ideas as to how i can improve my build, if at all.
Any links to a good calc for my masteries will be appreciated.
Also, should i start using a shield? any better weapons out there for me at this point in the game ?

btw my armor is a blue "Banded plate of verei-Te" (96 armor)

any ideas anyone?

thanks very much !

I guess I would create my build somewhat like this

TitanCalc by stonedonkey - A Titan Quest Calculator - Spellbreaker

other than that, get better gear, your DPS is by far the worst I ever heard of. I beat that at level 10 to 15.

Mamba, bear in mind that when Dual Weilding your true DPS is higher than the displayed DPS.

Yes dualwield. Spellbreakers are great for that.
As you grow older %attach converted to health items will be more and more important. This is your first character so you probably don't have much gear. You need things that give higher dmg. Right now you can focus on potions instead of %Attack to health item. Your attack speed is horrible. Use weapons training. Get faster weapons. Get weapons with more dmg. Get some monster charms and relics that will help you out. Farm. Get more gear. More defense. More resistance. More dmg. More speed!

Weapons training?
Also, what sort of weapons should i expect at this lvl? 50-70 dmg ?
Should i use maces? axes? swords seem a bit weak at this point..

Where should i farm? any specific regions to go back to ?

If anyone is using the tqvault and has some cool weapons they dont need, would appreciate it :P

True, it is better than that, but my dual wielders still beat it before they reach 20

as to what gear to get : +% attack speed and +% damage are your friends here, +% damage converted to health is always nice too.

Farm those tigermen until you get at least one decent Sabretooth sword from them.

Sabertooth is a Awesome Monster infrequent (read my sig if you want to know more about those)
You havent told us what your equipment is so it's almost impossible to tell you what you want to pick up. Weapons training... the skill in the warfare tree that gives you attack speed... speaking of you havn't given us your build either... things like that can help quite a bit.

I just started a spellbreaker yesterday, only got to level 13. My DPS is pretty comparable to that (149 I believe?) and I'm using only what I've picked up along the way. Granted, I was a little lucky in terms of finding a couple blues I could actually use at a low level, but I just now started dual-wielding after I thought I had enough points to make it worthwhile.

I'm very curious as to where your skill points went.
