So, wanting a piece of the melee action (since I'm also running a Ritualist and Evoker), I decided to make a spellbreaker.
Nothing really too special. Just hit level 12: 1 str/1 dex distribution, and all the items she's wearing give either +str or +%str. As a result, I have a buffed strength of around 300, which really opens up the mace options. I think I'm using a normal-Anubis'ed Veteran's Edged Mace (DPS ~300). I'm still using a shield for now, because I haven't started investing in the dual wield line. This is the build right now: TitanCalc by stonedonkey - A Titan Quest Calculator - Spellbreaker I put 1 point each into the Warfare level 1 skills, then maxed Weapon Tactics -> Onslaught -> 1 pt in Deathchill -> max Ravages of Times -> max Deathchill. Question is, where should I start putting points? I feel like onslaught is nice and all, but the points could be used elsewhere this early in the game. Having never played a melee char before, some detailed skill advice would be nice. ![]() Also: It's normally to be chugging reds like crazy in Act I, right? The anubis relic isn't doing too much...maybe the soul shiver will help. |

Up to level 18 I like you was drinking a lot of red. At that point, I shopped around for decent Of Feasting weapons, and socketed them with Anubis+speed%. I noticed a big difference once I had ~15% damage converted to health along with Necrosis. Before that I ignored life leech altogether and just took the highest damage output weapons I could. My ~level 20 Sprellbreaker looks more or less like this: TitanCalc by stonedonkey - A Titan Quest Calculator - Spellbreaker shortly after entering the Nile Flood Plain on Normal. Unlike yourself, I've put less into the Death Chill line and more into Warfare. I'm dual wielding more for fun than because I must, but have at least managed to push DPS up to around 285. Comparing my build to yours at your level, I spent the eight points you have in Ravages of Time on Lich, War Horn, Vision of Death, and points towards Battle Standard. All four are _outstanding_ skills.

I would max Onslaught and Weapon Training ASAP.
