Veteran's Rancor of Devouring/the Betrayer with a good Achille's socketed in it mainhand.
Offhand can be the same thing or use something that lowers a monster's resistances, which is very helpful indeed.

I have to agree I am myself finding that green items to be better then any other type. Rancor is a very good weapon found on the robot things in hades. Plus they also drop very high ac armor and a very good green shield.

Green items scale better and weapon-based relics (well, Achilles at least) is just way too good to pass up. We need more legendary weapons level 50+ and with unique mods on them. Green items (especially monster-specifics) should never be outdated entirely, they just shouldn't always be better, either.

Assuming you have some +%dmg mods on you from skills and items , plus can support the low base attack speed , sapros the corrupter is impossible to match for any physical damage weapon.

It carries on it the strongest resistance debuff in the game , one that will multiply physical damage by ~1.6 since almost nothing has a physical resistance.

It matches up to "conventional" weapons depending on how much +%dmg you have.
My conq unbuffed (+103% dmg) would need a weapon with +130% dmg on it to get the same damage.
Fully buffed (+320% dmg) it would require a weapon with +280% dmg on it........

And on top of it , the thing is pretty fast for a mace (as fast as a rancor and those are "average" speed) , has life leech and there are many uses for the debuff , besides damage.
How can you beat that?

Pair it with a high damage green (or a thorny maul) and you're set.

I haven't used it yet...I'll have to trade for it and Thorny Maul because they are both getting a lot of good press.

Legendary Peng Claw will serve you well if you're looking for pure damage. That weapon already does insane damage so you may wish to throw something more subtle on there like Anubis for attack convert to health, or tartarus for the slow. Blade of Thanatos wouldn't hurt if you're doin multiple types of damage.
