Default Re: Harbinger - The Warrior Ultimate Build

i have harbinger at level 32 now and so far it rocks solidly! All enemies are put to dust right away,. You don't want to slow down or wait for the enemy. Instead i come to them inside via warwind it's 300% movement speed when used and I got a weapon called "raging bull" and a very fast sword which i forgot it's name and a combination of Stun relics somehow it inflicts massive stun effect to multiple monsters very very often. My build is STR and DEX 1:1 and my character focuses on pierce damage, vitality damage, elemental damage, bleeding damage stun, movement speed and a little bit of health. So far i have no complaints whatsoever, hmm maybe on epic i would encounter a problem?... i hope not.. So far so good.. I'm happy all monsters are flying and bleeding like hell even bosses just froze like crazy, up and down up and down.hehe

With harbinger you can just move like a wind and devastate everything on it's path literally. How cool is this build! ^_^

Yeah, that's the skill I had meant. Convalescence + Distortion Field + Battle Standard = whoa Absorption.

Oh..i see now. Well this can be really powerfull

All of the three Trace is nice and have all some useful caracteristic.
-Trance of Empathy is really nice for life leach, and also the 60% reflected damage can be really great if you stack it with rally (with defance mastery)

-Trance of Convalescence is useful like Omnilous said, you can stack it with battle Standard and distontion field, (but battle standard is only use on boss, so 36% damage absortion are not always use) And health and energie regen are net really useful.

-Trance of Warth is my best choise, in my opinion, because 36% of physical resistance of the ennemis are down, so you deal really more damage on monsters. 1 second of skill disruption is always useful against caster or skill user. (but i'm wondering if the Trance refresch the skills disruption at eash second ??)

LOL thats all personality... I dont care how overpowered my builds are I die tons of times. I usually run in are just go toe to toe with a boss once everytime I go fighting. The Xmax monster mod doesnt help things either, but some people do not like to die, other don't care. Me, I dont care. I dont even try to stay alive half the time

Pfft, I have epic characters with zero deaths!

Seriously, though, my strongest IT character is a pet ritualist, and she has died more times than my other characters -- about a dozen deaths in late epic. The reason is that I've been experimenting and trying out things even if I knew that it would get me killed. Going back to the Albino Spider Queen for example (with a Cyclopse scroll!), which accounts for six deaths alone. I also insisted on doing act4/normal with a pet build even though I knew that was foolish and I should have respecced for Hades (pets suck in act4/normal, they're fine in epic and legendary). The character has only died once in epic, though, to the Neanderthal boss - and if I had played the char in HC-mode, I would have equipped her with stun resistance equipment just for the encounter So, yes, the death encounter is relative ... it says more about laziness, willingness to experiment and reckless playing style than about the prowess of a build.

yeah I have a ton of deaths from using the XMax mod. It works great with my Harbinger, I chew through mobs until I getto a boss, and there are three of them and they whollop me to 0 in like 2 seconds.

So then another 6 deaths or so is me figuring out how to beat all three of them

I'm really really interested in creating a Harbinger.
My pure warrior (lvl 33) is getting really wussy-like in Act IV normal.
Can't wait to try my hands on the Dream Mastery skills...
OP's suggestion sounds pretty good!
Nice post!
