It is for bosses. It is crucial. It helps a ton. (triumph is what implements the buffs and debuff)
Why do you have War horn and Distort reality? Do you really need two radius of effect attacks that stop people. I havent had an issue with needing to use it again before the cooldown has passed. You might do better by focusing on one. (distort reality)

Is that question directed at me? Because I don't have war horn. war wind is maybe what you read, the spin attack

It's on a 1 minute cooldown with a small radius and can't move with you.

You must absolulely use Phamtom Strike, not War Wind, War Wind suck, it deal only 25 more dmg at high level. With Phamtom Strike its very easy to kill 8 monster in only one hit. You can't do this with War Wind. (the 8 supplementary skills points for Phamtom Strike worth the prize)

And for Battle Standard is only for Boss instead if you have -100% recharge time. Lets me doubt it :P. But When you'll be level 60 and done all the quest that give you skills points, you'll complete the normal build so put some point in battle standard and Ancetral Horn. You'll not force to change your skills points between normal and buss build.

I do use phantom strike. However, it has something like a 20 second cooldown. I need to use AoE attacks constantly, and war wind is there for when phantom strike isn't ready. I don't really see it as which is better, I say just get both and use war wind as backup. War wind is not that expensive in terms of skill points.

War wind doesn't really do any noticeable extra damage, but still, it can hit like 4-7 targets depending on how much of its synergy you invest in, which is still considerably better than a regular attack.

To enhance bleeding, you'd need bleed% items, rogue mastery, or hunting mastery. Basically, I would just put 1 point into that skill to hit 1 extra target for a total of 5.

Why no Distort Reality? 5% of the time you get hit, you get some sizable damage absorption.

Also, right now I'm using Psionic Touch instead of Onslaught, have you tried both and found Onslaught to be superior (from playing both a Slayer and a Conqueror, I REALLY miss Ardor and Ignore Pain)? Dual wielding has the perk of building On-Hit charges much faster via Tumult and Crosscut procs than a single weapon, so it can release the damage bonus quite frequently, it also makes elemental damage REALLY effective.

Also, why do you feel that Phantom Strike is not effective against bosses? A quick backing up and then a Phantom Strike is a great way to leach back mana and put a world of hurt on them in a single stroke.

Have you tried the other Trances? With Convalescence and Distort Reality maxed, you can get 54% Damage Absorption when DR procs.

My Harbinger is only 32 right now, but I'm curious to know what other folks experiences have been.

I made a harbinger myself, I find myself needing the sleep skill though. awesome crowd controller and cooldown is over before the enemies awake most of the time. Simply amazing.

Where do you get the 54% of damage absorbtion and Distor Reality doesn't affect Trance of Convalescence

He meant Distortion Field.

Damn Dream Mastery and the pseudoscientific names for all the skills.
