Default Interesting Wrists

While i was farming gorgons for the Stonebinder's Cuffs,a standard gorgon Guard dropped this

They look pretty good for hunters! Surely not as good as Stonebinder's cuffs but still a nice green item

I didn't even really farm for the Stonebinder's Cuffs, but in Epic ended up with a green pair that gave me +2 to all skills and something like +9% attack speed; the problem is that I'm in Legendary now and I've got a dual-wielding Conqueror who has too many armor pieces boosting levels and I've become a bit too reliant on my total +4 to all skills.

thats not a problem. I laugh at your problem... I have the same situation but my armbands gave me plus skills and increased my pierce dmg very high. This was awesome when I found them in NORMAL. Epic wasnt too bad I was one shotting most things until late china. Now? Im trying to run through legendary... yeah well its time for me to up my armor. and it isnt really only my arms that I am worried about. :gulp:

Actually, I have the same problem as you, I just phrased it wrong.

I've got Somocles' Plate (poor armor rating for Legendary), a Hallowed Babylonian Helm, and the Stormbinder Cuffs I was talking about...I'm awesome in Epic Egyptian, but everything after that is a bit shaky. Too much melee.

I felt your pain. I farmed gorgons over and over again in legendary until I finally picked up a pair of green sentenal bands that have plus 3 to hunting and plus to pierce dmg. I'm not clear if these are Monster infrequents or not though. Things are getting less bleak...

I'm on Legendary now; farming Medusa is terribly impractical because you have to run through the whole level just to get to her. Farming the Gorgons doesn't seem to yield the Stonebinder's Cuffs...and when I lose two levels in everything, I start to have serious problems. I really need to find something, though, because my dual-wielding Conqueror's armor in Legendary is Somatophylakes Plate (which was awesome when I found it but is clearly underpowered ATM) and these Stonebinder's Cuffs. I've got +3 skills from just these two items (I've got a rare Babylonian Helm adding another level); less skills=less damage=less leeching=a dude Conqueror.

See, I'm killing things REALLY fast right now with a "Murderous" Sword and Spinebreaker; my attack speed is up, I'm leeching an insane amount of life, and unless I'm fighting undead I'm sort of able to offset the life I lose with the life I'm leeching back.

I like to activate the fountain where that litte guy crawls out once you kill the skeles... Its the one immediately before the queens. Anyways. I start a game and spawn there. Then I run straight to (skipping all the monsters) the Queens. Kill the queens. Raid the chests. Clear the gorgon caves and then sell any bounty I dislike. Teleport to athens... Run past the rats and clear the whole court yard and then enter the catacombs. There is often 1 or 2 groups of gorgons on the first floor. A bunch of groups on the second... 3rd I think there were some groups? Its hard to remember I do itby sight... but anyways I kill only gorgons and things that look at me wrong but largly I run past them all... I kill the little blue zombie boss and then clear the docks of gorgons and start again. MOST important thing... is do this in a game with many people. Its harder... but you get more junk.. Get some budds together and go hunting... Unfortunately there arent maybe open games in legendary hosted in america when I try... . My games are always named rightfoot (well me or my buds I play with its our little system...) If you are a hunting master then you have a chance of picking up some sentinal bands which I dont know if they are monster inffrequents but they seem to have a really high chance of having plu sto hunt skills and plu to pierce dmg! wee woo

I farmed these armbands for my Sage. I did the same as Whisk33 but only as far as activating the last fountain before medusa.
From there I just killed the skelletons that blocked the way before the 3 gorgon Queens and all the Gorgons until the next merchant after the cave. There I sold stuff and started again.

Then it needed about 15 runs to finally get the drop from one of the Bosses. I tried that again for my brothers Ranger later but found the green RARE Sentinel's Armbands with +3 to hunter skills and a fair amount of +% pierce dmg. That was after about 8-10 runs. So I just gave him these and he was happy with it.

Stonebinder cuffs can also drop from the 'normal' gorgons. I found some in Normal level with my Oracle. But seeing how many of the Gorgons I've killed and how many drops I had so far I'd say Monster Rare items are really RARE.

By the way. Your DPS is pretty impressive. I hope thats with Call of The Hunt active. Else I'd feel pretty whimpy with my base 1800dps on my Sage.
Wonder what bow you use?

After a pretty nice farming session last night, I've now got one pair of epic Stonebinder's Cuffs (+2 to all skills) and two pairs of legendary Stonebinder's Cuffs (+3 to all skills). I got them pretty much back to back, and pretty much accidentally (I was farming the area before the first Telkine for Alexander's Cuirass to go with the Alexander's Bracers I'd found).

The game seems to do this, though; I was getting rares and Legendaries all over the place last night, then other times I get nothing after hours on end.

Anyways...now I've got to find a way to up my attack speed. I've got better armor, but I'm swinging so slow that my life leech isn't making up for the hits I'm taking...and, really, more than that, I just like swinging fast.
