Actually it will increase your casting speed by 90% of what is was before wearing the ring. So if your casting speed was 100, it would be 190 with the ring.

That's an outrageous boost in stats. Imagine the possibilities if you already have uber casting speed.

my Druid has 300% casting speed

You should see the shards fly!!

I got 112% cast speed from some bracers,
50 something from battlemage circlet,
and another 50 something from the staff of elyisium

It takes down everything!
