I was just wondering what peoples opinions were on this weapon I just received...

Heartpierce:
16-20 Damage
30% Piercing
Speed: Very Fast

14% Chance of:
30-60 Bleeding Damage Over 5 Seconds
22% Reduction to Enemy's Health
6-14 Piercing Damage
13% Pierce Resistance
+18 Offensive Ability
+1 to Anatomy


It doesn't have terribly high damage but I thought that the 14% chance to reduce an enemies health by 22% might make this a worthwhile weapon to use against bosses with high health. What do you guys think about it?

Required Strength: 85

Its a decent low level item. Good for rogues... but not past like lvl 20+

I agree with you.

Yeah, I get that item every time I start a new character-- usually from spiders. I had two of them at one point. Very useful in the beginning. I usually get it when I'm level 6-9 -- then end up ditching it within the next 5 or so levels gained.

i got thast and used it for like 10+ lvls then i got a saber tooth then some guy gave me two legendary axes

a very good weapon imo...i got one when i was still below lvl 8..then i used it until act 3 of normal...that's the only point in the game where i got a better weapon.
