Default Whats the best Ring?

I was wondering what the best ring is... I really want a new Ring for my level 58 Soothsayer.

So everyone post your opinion on what is the best ring!

Thanks.

I don't think there is a universal best ring. Even with matching criteria, people still have their own preferences.

apollos will is great melee, star of elysium has its uses, adriots loop, but since you're a soothslayer i'd say celestial band.

my Soothsayer is melee so I don't think Celestial Band would be good because of it's plus Elemental damage... So any more Rings?

Most of my high level characters tend to wear rings that patch holes in their resistances or provide something they need that they can't get from their other gear. I don't look for specific rings, so much as specific bonuses.

My trap brigand wears Str based gear, so she can't usually find any energy or energy regen or casting speed on that stuff, so she wears store bought rings with casting speed and adds Hecate relics with good completion bonuses.

The bow brigand usually devotes ring slots to resistance stuff, since she can't wear a shield to help her with that.

My prophet goes for a combination of resistances and energy regen on rings. Especially energy regen. When you're constantly casting spells that have energy costs over a hundred (a maxed out distortion wave is Crazy expensive!), you need that stuff in the worst way.

Seal of Hephaestus, which gives any character class 15% damage resistance through Heat Shield. And after that, you can unequip it for something else. I use it on all of my characters.

Yeh, Seal of Hephaestus is pretty good I might put that on if I find it. It would be incredibly good with weapons with Incarnation of Prometheus Flame

1,000,000 shoes huh? so 500,000 pairs? or you like to make more left shoes than right?

As to the OT picking a ring isn't really cut and dry, it depends on what else you are currently wearing. Often it is the rings that are used to fill gaps in your equipment like resistances that are lacking or improving damages if you're getting resistances elsewhere. I think a few other people already said that though.

Post your build and equipment and maybe we can help you out better.
