uber powerful items?

Achilles Spear (my favorite weapon I found so far!)
Mindrazor
Tartarus set
Alexander set
Neamon Lion Set
The Furies
Erysichthon's Hunger

Opposite post for me: under-powered items: namely, the Warrior Set. I really love the look of the helm and armor, but they're so underpowered that my character (66th Champion) will get slaughtered trying to wear it.

Instead I have to wear and wield two items I think make the overpowered list:

Helm of the Shadowlord

Scepter of the Shadow King

C'mon, Dev's, us melee artists need some luv, too . . . . .

Have you tried the Conqueror's set? Looks almost identical (so just as bad) but is higher level & has some nice Legendary bonuses to it.

But I think Onager is the uber of ubers till you get those sick purple items...

I didnt use any potions (isnt that good like Persephone,thou!) for a long time and chance for stun is great! With adrenaline,and some adrenalines from items,like Achilles armor and Demeters Bounty this sick axe do pretty good job.I become something like nurse .I held it like second weapon and swich it when I need drinks!

It's an epic set, not a legendary one, so why should it hold up at the level you are at ? It is a nice set for mid level players, but you are high level, any legendary set should beat it easily, and rightfully so.

I know. Wishful thinking. I like the looks of the armor (much better than say, the Tartarus set). It's sad when one helm (the Helm of the Shadow King) beats an entire set of armor.

I have two or three pieces of the Legionnaire set, pretty much built for Conquerers. I'm hoping to find a set made for Champions.

quick question - why is the thorny maul so popular/ uber ?
ive never found or used it before...

It has insane pierce damage modifier, it is a mace (naturally high base damage) and you can dual-wield it. Enough said.

But I'd pick my Achilles spear over it anytime.

Not only that, it is classified as a mace/club, wich means you can get the stun bonus from Concusive Blow, in the Defense Mastery. And Apollo´s Will do work on it, whereas a regular club won´t get squat for wearing them.
Get a Tracker´s Hood, a couple of Apollo´s Will, and a Shield of Korybantes, and you become a piercing god! Or dual wield it with Sapros, even better.
