I noticed that autodetect game paths is turned off. Are you having an issue with detecting the game paths? Also is this a standard CD installation or is it Direct2Disk or Steam?

Here is a version with debug logging turned on in the areas you are seeing a problem. Install 2.16 with the installer and then unzip this over the top. You can preserve your config file since there are no configuration changes from 2.16 to 2.17.
TQVault 2.17 BETA3 - Test

You should not have to even load a character. Just load TQVault and mouse over something in your main vault and let the error show. Once the error shows close TQVault. Just do it once since alot of information gets written. Also, let me know what the item was and if it's not part of the all artifacts vault please send the vault to me.

Im already install 2.16 & run it.I think registry error , i scan but still like this.

TQVault 2.17 Beta 2 still workin. Thank u & keep workin.

I've tried to use the program, winxp, but will just freeze when trying to move objects to the vault slots. Freezes up before the item is off the screen of the player. No error, just dead freeze.

One bug - when I put some completed relics/charms into the caravan stash using TQ Vault, then my character couldnt' open this stash in the game and I had to reset my PC. I had to reset caravan files in TQ Defiler...

Seriously, you might want to read what the man here (EJFudd) has said about the abilities of this version... it will probably explain your problems for you.... see relevant statements below...

It's a bit of a hack since the program is built more for grid type layouts of the stash and sacks, but it works. Right now it's read only though the copy and properties functions are still available.

I've also changed the targets to x86 and Win32 so there is a small chance this will help those having issues on x64.

Got the same error running Beta 3.

2.17 Beta 2 works fine though (I use TQ v1.30 without IT installed)

Sorry I haven't responded. I've been under the weather lately. I didn't really have any problems with autodetecting game paths. I turned it off and manually selected them as part of my troubleshooting. I'll try this debug version shortly. My work firewall blocks savefile.com so I have to get it from home.

BETA 3 really should not be used since it's a debug version and has the logging code enabled. I am waiting for dmspen to try to resolve his (her) issue.

Also, anyone experiencing issues with the stash please upload your corrupted stash files. They are in pairs and and and named winsys.dxg and winsys.dxb
The character stash is in the character folder and the shared stash can be found in \My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\SaveData\Sys\.

In addition, it would be nice to have the backup files which fix the issue and exactly what you did before you noticed the problem. It would also be good to know if the 'Fix Caravan Files' function in defiler fixes the broken stash files.

BTW, this is a standard CD installation.

I uninstalled 2.16 and re-installed. Verified the problem still exists. I unzipped the 2.17 beta3 you gave me on top of the 2.16 files. When I tried to run TQVault, I got this error:

C:\Program Files\TQVault\TQVault.exe
This application has failed to start because the application configuration is not correct. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

I tried this several times with the same result.
