@Calienon
I also had the problem of install version of 2.15beta not allowing installation as it said it required .NET Framework 3.5.21022. I did lots of digging and found that I do have 3.5.21022 installed, however there seems to be some issue with the registry keys created by installing NET Framework 3.5 from Microsoft's site not actually matching the keys that Microsoft indicates should be checked by developers to establish the version installed on a PC. I tried manually creating said keys but this also failed. However I got the 2.15beta running by doing the following (I'm using WinXP sp2).

EJ, what version of visual studio are you using? I used VS 2008 Professional Edition to build 2.14. I'm wondering if whatever version you are using is slightly different and has some bug in the installer that is causing these install problems for some people.

Why do I get a problem like the one shown in the attached pic? I also get the same thing with version 2.14.

To bman654:
I am using a different VS version (2005 Pro) so I'm guessing that's the issue with the installer. I basically took your setup project and compiled. I was not 100% sure this would work so I included the no setup version. Obviously it does not work. Khriez: Does that show up before or after hitting the extract button? Also, it looks like you do not have IT installed is that true? Everyone: The no setup version is intended to install over the 2.14 installation and assumes that is all working. |

Khriez - it appears to be a bug in the database extraction tool if you only have TQ installed and not the expansion. The extraction tool was only recently modified to work with the expansion and this is the first time since then someone has tried to use it without the expansion. Bug can be fixed - don't worry.
So 2 things you can do: 1. Go download TQVault 2.11 for a working database extractor. You can find it on Soulseekkor's website. Look in the TQ Defiler thread for his website. You can still use the current TQVault for all your inventory needs. It works just fine with or without the expansion. It is just the database extractor that has a problem in the current version. 2. Or get the expansion It really adds alot to the game.
