Not sure what the error means...I changed a few things and reuploaded it, let me know if it helps any.

Lol, I hear you there, but from a programming standpoint it lets me do more having the ability to instantly reload the character in the background for example...and some peoples' computers take longer (depending on the age/size of a character).

Made a couple adjustments to the character list, let me know if it still needs some more. Looks like I gotta tweak the loading a bit (figured I would, just didn't have anymore gas at 5am, bleh), still lagging tonight yet from it, lol. Tomorrow I should get a good streak of time to get cracking at it and to do some regular Titan Quest character testing (as it plainly doesn't work with them yet). And yes, it is normal to get a list of errors because of the way the loading works...if it "lands" in the wrong spot so to speak, everything after it will also fall on the wrong place. As the character is loading into memory, and nothing is done to the files you don't have to worry about that at all. This newer build removes alot of the "fluff" junk like progress bar and message box, makes it nicer I think.

Just wanted to let you know that I tried the full install last night and it went to 3.5 (installed hotfixes for 2.0, then 3.0 and hotfixes, then 3.5). My add/remove programs had like 20 .net things.

Okay, thanks! The new setup that I just put up lastnight might be a bit different...I found a prerequisite section where I was able to remove the 3.5 prereq and check the 2.0, might make it so it won't do that.

Feb 23, 2:30PM:

Just put up a new build, this should take care of anything related to the critical stats showing incorrectly as well as Titan Quest characters loading correctly. Bman should be proud now. No more character load lag! Now I should be able to move on to the other stuff.

EDIT: Oh yeah, this build hides the reward "skills" as well as the two "defaults" so the skill list looks normal again.

Hmm, I've changed a couple more things so the next publish will be different...but if you have the framework already you should be able to use the exe only download just fine, maybe it's mad because you already have it? (Doubt it, but not sure what else to go on, lol.)

Character list box looks cleaner, and the characters seem to load ok now. I'll try to do a thorough check of stats later - son bugging me to play with him atm

I've noted in the character skills list that some are ticked enabled while others are not. For example CoreDweller is not ticked but CoreDweller_PetModifier_InnerFire along with everything else on that toon is ticked (including both WraithLordSummons and WraithLord_PetModifier_DeathNova). Other Toons have non-pet related skills not enabled also. What does this "enabled" flag mean?

Honestly, I'm not sure, lol. I haven't delved into that part lately (as I make the skills aspect a long long time ago). I don't think it has any effect really, when I get a chance I'll uncheck/check some and see if it does anything, if it doesn't do anything at all I'll most likely remove that from the screen I think.

I think the game enables some and others not but it doesn't seem to have an actual effect in the game on anything, one of those useless IronLore things I guess...like why do Immortal Throne characters have the character level saved in THREE different places? No clue.

I have the undo system started now, and should have it working pronto...possibly will add the ability to save/save as since that should be pretty straight-forward, may do that first. Some things will be "trickier" as they change the structure of the whole file like waypoints and character name.

Maybe you guys already have seen this, but I tried today's version of .net and I couldn't change the character name or remove a skill/mastery. The name button was greyed out and the skill/mastery buttons were not, but when I clicked them nothing happened.
Conversely, I tried the vb6 version and both worked without issue.
This was with an immortal throne character.

No worries, those are not functional yet, most things are disabled but there's a couple situations (like the remove mastery buttons) where the buttons become enabled through various code. Disabling this code would be somewhat tedius and could introduce other problems by not turning things on when expected so I've left as much of the code untouched as possible. I try to note as much as I can for things added in each build. Changing things will be slower as it has to work very differently from the old Defiler, it has to be capable of both temporary memory changes and undos when using the default system where you must save changes....and also must be capable of direct changes like the old Defiler.

Either tonight or tomorrow I will have a version that allows you to save changes as well as undo changes, but the things you can actually change will be pretty limited as I have to thoroughly check each section I add. Feel free to post feedback about the undo/save system as it is added...I'm assuming all characters are loading correctly now.

EDIT: Just posted a new build (Feb 24; 1:00am), minor changes and additions including the greatest monster killed information and greatest damage dealt on the last page. Any features that currently let you change things are tied into the undo system and the undo all is functional, sorry no save or undo (once) until tomorrow! Time for some mac 'n cheese and then bed.
