SoulSeekkor's TQ Defiler.NET News/Requests

I seem to have a problem after using TQ Defiler. When i, for example, max the Warfare mastery, and place Onslaught under the attackbutton, the game CTD's each time i attack an enemy. Normal attack seems to work though.

Any idea why this happens?

Edit : Never mind, did a re-install and now it works.

The new forums "Soul's Forums" are now up and operational. Very much reduced format along with no threads/posts/users currently crossing over (and probably not ever, as many users were bots and many threads were obsolete from older versions anyway).

I've had this happen a few times now but I can no longer get the mod that toggles the "Filter" key to a on/off function to work properly. Using both TQDefiler and TQDefiler.NET the mod is checked but no longer functions in game.

I think this may have happened after installing the Community Patch but I cannot be completely sure of this. It's worked before, patched, and now it no longer works while I believe all other mods are (though its hard to tell on some of them).

Thoughts?

It's possible, I think the patch modifies the game's executable so it might change that area just enough to make it not work...I haven't installed the patch for testing yet. But I'll be sure to check into it.

I have a problem, i finished all quests in normal. defeated the titan etc. but still i cant get into EPIC level. now some 1 told me Defiler can set you into the epic level..

So i downloaded Defiler but i don't know how it works. Can anyone tell me how i load my character into defiler and put him into EPIC mode?

suggestion!: a "Mercury mod" type ability, to automatically give our characters all the quest rewards from previous difficulties, for the fan-patch, since Mercury doesn't work properly.

I plan to check exactly what Mercury modifies (need to write a program first to do this), if it isn't too horrendous then I'll see about adding it to the Defiler and maybe doing an update for it to work with the fanpatch, not sure if I'll be able to do it...might be something for Raven himself or maybe Bman to take care of.

Good so far, unfortunately a number of IRL things are getting in the way of working on it at the moment...but I plan to get some more done and hopefully have the character save portion finished by the end of this weekend (which is Monday for me). Too Human is also killing some of my time, but in a good way.

I only wish that it and TQ had random level generation.

I'm pretty sure it modifies Quest.ARC and basically adds a new quest with quest rewards to the NPC in the town in the main campaign.
