Haven't had any luck getting in contact unfortunately. I think the fan patch doesn't modify anything that would conflict, I think it's the randomization fix only that does it.

I haven't even downloaded it yet, ironically with thousands of people using my third-party program a third-party patch makes me a little nervous.

Hey Soul. I'm having trouble getting Defiler to work. I'm using the steam version of Immortal Throne with no mods.

When I open Defiler I get this error before it loads:

SoulSeekkor's TQ Defiler.NET (Settings Initialization Error)

Error #5: InvalidArgument=Value of '15' is not valid for 'SelectedIndex'.
Parameter name: Selected Index
System.Windows.Forms


Then I click OK, and it loads, and I get this error (a new box opens every second, really annoying):

Error #76 Path not found.

Any ideas?

The first one will take me a little bit to find, but shouldn't be too tough to fix, I've fixed the repeating error problem for the second issue and should be able to narrow done the cause of the problem itself with a little time....thanks for posting!

EDIT: The multiple error message is fixed and the first error message you got should be fixed now....not sure if I'll get to the second one right away, but the next build should have them both fixed, I'll post when it's uploaded.

I've uploaded a new build (6:00PM).

Okay, the first problem and the looping error message should now be fixed. The second problem I'll need more information though, I've added to the error message, should say DEBUG INFO and list two paths...and F path and an I path below that, please screenshot or post with that new error message when you can.

EDIT: New build just put up @ 2:00AM, 8-4-08.....added various regular TQ mods.

I should have all of the TQ mods in and complete by the end of today. Also included now in the links menu is a link to the tqitfanpatch website, and after speaking with Luedtke the hopeful plan is that I'm going to write a program to assist in building in a patcher into the Defiler to apply/remove the fan patch from within the Defiler itself.

New build with all mods for both TQ and IT coded finally...let me know if anything shows up funny or doesn't look right.

Should we delete the old defiler once we have the new one up and running?

Yes, but not quite yet. The mods by section is more or less finished (minus I have to add the function to allow users to add their own mods that they create). But the character side of things is still unfinished, once that is finished then yes...I'll probably take down the old Defiler altogether from my downloads as well, just not quite ready yet.
