Default PC Zone - 81%

One of the main PC magazibes in the UK.

Points....

- Great diablo clone
- easy to get into, never more than 30sec away from a fight
- Beautiful visuals and sound
- Thought it was repetitive ie kill all the monsters the same way
- A bit easy, the reviewer died only 2 or 3 times
- If Oblivion is a gourmet meal TQ is a big Mac, hits the spot and fills a whole for a time.

On the whole it was positive, I felt the reviewer was a bit snobbish against it.

Why the hell would anyone compare Oblivion to TQ? That's just retarded.

It seems a lot mention some amount of repetitively of killing the same type of monsters (just a new skin for ‘em in china for example.)
Of course this is the case with pretty much all Action-rpg’s but I hope it’s not *that* bad.

Still, the grades seem to be at least above 80% which is good enough, especially if you are already a fan of the genre (then count like +10% on top of it).

Hmm a comparison with OB yet still complains about TQ having too much monster reuse? Now that is interesting

I just can't take reviews seriously. I have played games that have great reviews that I hated and also the opposite.

For me the demo was enough to see to know I would like the game. I actually played the DS2 demo and decided not to buy it. For some reason that game did not have the "it" factor for me. But after playing the demo of TQ I knew I had to have it.

I have the exact same thought.

I just don't like DS2 demo, the character, their armor , the way the assault transport drop the marine... the way the sergeant shout. Oops, that should be a Fantasy RPG but meh... LACK CREATIVITY

TQ demo kept me playing for week...

My sentiments exactly! It seems like some of these reviews have missed major points about the game and some are unable to appreciate the more subtle features present. I quess that's what happens when you are constantly comparing TQ to another game and not focusing on what TQ has to offer.
