GameBanshee continues to keep an eye on our beloved Iron Lore. Read the interview here.

So I guess the question that comes about the end of this article, is whether or not THQ would ever consider a TQ II... anybody have any ideas or opinions on this? Does anyone from THQ look at this forum I wonder.... it seems that TQ has a fairly vibrant community.... perhaps there is hope for a sequel....

The day THQ releases the source code is the day the world ends.

What? THQ does everything for those who buy their games...

Oh wait, that's EA...

I wanted to direct everyones attention to a recent article on piracy by a developer from the recent best selling game: Sins for a solar empire.

http://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com...?postid=303512

I really enjoyed his take on piracy and the way he's approaching the gaming market. Valve has also recently echoed some of the same thoughts, but alas I have no link.

Dunno... I did read that one though.
Though I don't agree with the statement "dont copy games and you will not destroy a gaming giant"
First of all, I thorougly dislike double negatives. Second, IronLore wasn't exactly a giant, gaming giants will survive piracy.
As for piracy itself; it doesn't destroy anything. Games should be based on their potential buyer market, not on pirates... that's just a weird thought. Also, I can hardly imagine that IronLore went bankrupt because of that Nessus piracy bug, or whatever it was.

I guess everyone needs a scapegoat; and since pirates are already doing the bad thing, nobody would care if piracy took the blame.
