Question 2nd Titan Quest Add-on. .....not to be.

well the "critical" window of opportunity for a 2nd titan quest add-on has gone, i'm afraid. looks like no more add-on's for our beloved titan quest.

as for a full blown sequel, maybe one day - maybe. but don't look too good.

also no more official patches for tq or tq-it... ever. they made their money!!

shame really.....

Thumbs up Re: 2nd Titan Quest Add-on. .....not to be.

in my believe this game almost had "final" game version status. one patch for more performance and one patch for our modder community would be the final act to get the final status. actualy it is ok if they say time to do new things because WE (the players and fans) have all what we need to build a whole new world !
diablo II for example had only one add on, too but random lvls so it was a challange every single time BUT TQ game has integrated tools for the community to let us create new things every new day ! ( to bad they forgot the mesh. export/import...i would love it to play with a mechanic dog pet )

in fact : this game only need active fans with ideas, fantasy and lil bit teamwork to get an addon
im not worried about that news. as long as the forums are alive and the ppl are interested in TQ !

not enough to create another add on

You would think, that being a successful and money making game, that they would continue with more expansion packs. I guess they have enough money or haven't spent it all yet. Where is the loyalty to us customers? We were the ones that made them rich.

Hehe - unfortunately the sales were not as good as you might expect. We did ok in Europe but poorly in America. Iron Lore hasn't made any royalties off the game as of yet and I'm not sure we will at this point. So, I think the sales just weren't enough for THQ to justify further investment in the product. Its sad for us but hey, I guess thats the way business goes.

Hey - thanks for the support man

I learned a lot making TQ and I wish we had the opportunity to do more with the game. I'm glad so many people enjoy it even with some of the flaws it still has.

I look forward to putting the experience I've gained to use in creating even better games for you guys in the future. There is a lot happening right now - some good, some bad - but I can't talk about it on the forums quite yet. I'll give you an update as soon as I can.

na dont worry about that u guys did a great work ! first was the game just "sexy" because awsome graphics. than it was funny. and at least it is my hobby lol. this game dont need any big change ! a great addon came out. thats it. there had to be an end for this and it came
i think as long as the community is alive there will be new things, always. the time of this game is far awy from dead

TQ is one of three games (Jagged Alliance 2 and Hidden & Dangerous 2 are the others) that I don't even bother to remove the disc from the drive. I haven't even seen the IT disc since June...
Stargate Worlds is the only game I see coming that can make me put it back in the box...

I imagine that Steam sales have helped things, right? I thought Titan Quest was very successful, but it was Immortal Throne that wasn't.
