I don't use the multiplayer function on TQIT, so as I see it, he gave it an
8.0. That sounds a little low, but satisfactory.

Hmm, I don't know, I find it hard to take a comment/rating like ...

Lasting Appeal - 7.5 - Several new hours of gameplay but no real additions in terms of multiplayer.

... serious, considering that a fan of the genre (D2'esque) will get a lot more than "several new hours" out of the expansion, and will not just play through the new act once.

And multiplayer ... well, closed severs aren't an option for monetary reasons, and the additions that were made were all solid improvements, so I don't quite understand that reviewer's take, or what they expected. Then again, IGN had given Rome: Total War a "lasting appeal" rating of 9.5, and I could never bring myself to play it more than once. It had about no zero lasting appeal to me.
