Completely missing the idea behind TQ. Priased the character configuration but on the whole was looking for another D3. At least that's what I thought of his review |

Bah.
A 7 for graphics? Your kidding, right?! Absurd. Despite some hiccups and slow downs being mentioned with the game so far, the graphics are second to none, look at any number of the countless screenshots and tell me its not spectacular. Its funny how people that knock this game keep coming up with minor issues to dwell on. This time its the inventory system?? Like you didnt have to micro-manage in Diablo for the same reason? From what I have heard from Digit, and Gorkk, and other reviews, plus playing the demo to death, is how much it does remind you of Diablo...its damn fun to kill monsters, grab loot and complete quests while exploring a vast world. What more are people looking for? Burns me up how some say its so fun to play and looks great, but wait....I cant betray Blizzard and say its better or just as good as it....no, lets come up some problem and blow a good score. Pffht....I say....Pfhht. |

After playing through a large part of Greece so far, I agree with Gamespot and IGN's review. The game is fun, don't get me wrong, but it's hugely disappointing.
The performance issues really tick me off after the demo ran smoothly. |

Besides some unnecessary phrases which only express personal taste, this review is quite fair, listing all pros and contras.
Only one mistake is rather embarrassing: "Furthermore, the game tends to put a lot of landscape between towns where you might find a merchant to sell all that extra gear, and it seems like there's an almost-constant struggle to decide what stays in your inventory and what goes, even though your overall inventory increases in size at several different points in the game." This guy obviously has never taken notice of the town portal. ![]() |

well atm with 106 votes cast, the player rating is 9.3
![]() If you like the game go in and vote and/or write a player review. I'll do it after I play the release version. Here's another puzzling statement from the review: "There are other aspects of the way Titan Quest handles items, such as how frustratingly difficult it can be to see some items that an enemy has dropped or to single out and pick up a specific item among a clutter of other items, that unnecessarily slow down the tempo of the game." Seems like they didn't find the alt key either :/ Last edited by Srikandi : 06-27-2006 at 05:28 AM. |
