Titan Quest Quest Problem

So sometime ago (back before the expansion) I had completed TQ on the easy setting (like everyone had too). After that, I played a little bit (2 minutes) into medium and then stopped playing. Well I wanted to get back into the game so I started it and started to progress, but when I tried to progress I can't leave the Villiage of Helos. In fact I don't even have the quest to kill the head guy of the Satyrs. All my quest log says is that I have talked to Timaeus and killed the beasts messing with his horse. Though when I go over there. there is still a bright yellow circle on the mini-map, which leads me to believe it hasn't registered that I've done that, even though it says I have and after talking to everyone around numerous times it still doesn't change things.

Is there anyway I can reset this difficulty level without having to rekill the boss guy in the previous difficulty level? Is there anything I can do? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you have to kill the satyr shaman--head north out of helos first.

I've done that before, and it didn't do anything as far as I remember. Does it show up in your quest log after you kill him? If so, I'll try again.

Talk to the people with yellow **** above their heads. There should be a tutorial/tool-tip window that pops up on the right when you start the game. Read those.

I don't think you're understanding me correctly. I'm now playing through with my level 32 character on the middle difficulty level. I've talked to everyone a ton of times each and nothing is happening. I've even killed the Shaman before and it wouldn't let me progress. I don't have the quest to kill him and no matter how much I talk to everyone, I don't get the quest.

Since you're still in Helos, delete your quest tokens for epic difficulty and then load it up again. It could be a bug. I've always been able to get out of the gate by just talking to the guy next to it (he does give me a warning first).

You can find the files in

\My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\SaveData\Main\_charName\Levels_World_World0 1.map\Epic

delete everything in there, it will reset the quests.

If you don't have IT then look in TQ folder.
