Problem with Steam..

I have been trying to launch Steam on my PC and this error pops up:

Couldn't initialize graphics engine. My screen turns black and then that error pops up. I would really like some help.

Steam is a realy B*TCH program u know
Try reinstalling and reinstalling untill it works, but why would u need steam for IT?

It is also possible your graphics card is not up to the challenge. You might post the specs so those who know more than I do can tell you if that is the case.

because the game was 20 lolDollars for tq & IT which brought alot of players into the fanbase.

Is it possible to apply the fan/unoffical patches on steam btw ?
