Can't get anti-aliasing working with Immortal Throne

I tried searching on this for quite a while but I didn't find anything, but I just can not get AA to work in Immortal Throne at all. I have the Steam version and if I start up normal Titan Quest anti-aliasing works just fine, I can turn it on and off in the game settings and I can change the AA levels in the Nvidia control panel and it all effects the game like it should.

But when I try to run Immortal Throne antialiasing only works on the title/character select screen Once I actually get in game, I can't seem to get it to work at all. No setting anywhere related to AA seems to have any effect on the game, not even a lower frame rate. I've tried the 169.xx drivers, the latest 177.xx and even some beta drivers and I get nothing. I've tried running it both on my desktop running Vista 64 with an 8800gts 512, and even on my laptop with Vista 32 and an 8600m. Does TQ:IT take issue with certain nvidia cards or does it not like Vista?

dunno mate i got 8800gtx x 2 in my laptop and everything plays at the highest settings at 1900x1200
