I've seen several postings about similar issues, but no solutions and nothing from anyone in the past year so I'm guessing there is a fix somewhere.
Originally the game would randomly stop, my monitor would go into power save mode and I'd have to hard boot my computer. After updating the ATI 9550 drivers TQ now reboots my machine as soon as I arrive at the character select screen. Any ideas? Here is my system info. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 8/31/2008, 22:41:02 Machine name: KITCHEN Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 (2600.xpsp.080413-2111) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: HP Pavilion 061 System Model: PC111A-ABA a645c BIOS: Phoenix - Award BIOS v6.00PG Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3200+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.2GHz Memory: 1024MB RAM Page File: 515MB used, 1082MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.5512 32bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ DirectX Files Tab: No problems found. Not exactly sure what's the cause but,try the omega drivers. They seem to fix alot of crashes/reboots problems.
