I decided to jump online tonight and 'attempt' to find some fair playing players to have some fun with. In my game named 'Act 2 Epic - Legit Only' someone named 'Assassins' or something joined my game, and joined up with me in Act 2.
They were pretty much full Legendary gear, the best of the best, over 13k DPS. Anyways, they quickly get ahead of me and I'm sort of left in the dust wondering what the hell they were doing. I had completed 'The Corrupted Priest' before they arrived, so at this time I figured I'd head to town and pick up the reward, then have them send a TP and I'd catch up with them. Right about now I turn in quest and as my quest reward got this awesome staff(I'm a spellcaster), so in the time I was looking at the staff and considering it's uses I get some quest notices. I wasn't totally paying attention at the moment so I just asked for him to send a TP, no reply. I assumed he was still in Act 2 in Valley of the Kings or whatever. I was wrong, wrong to the maximum extent one can be wrong. That mother ****** was in Act 4 while I was in town; and he ****ing did my Hades' Treasure quest without my knowledge and permission. Once I noticed this, I promptly banned him, but the damage has been done. Now, I'd really appreciate it if someone could explain the process of how to reverse this little predicament. I want the quest removed, and the exp removed (I believe I can do this myself in defiler). Can anyone help me undo this? I'll post screenshots to help explain. http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/r...shot05-JPG.jpg http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/r...shot06-JPG.jpg http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/r...shot07-JPG.jpg Thank you in advance. ![]() |

Believe I figured it out.
In 075da2e6a15de6bcb3e25f7f346fa9b7 que file, I replaced all the 'hasFired' with 'isPendingFire'; and for all the 'isSatisfied', I deleted that. I also deleted the Quest Token file. That seemed to do it! Last edited by Zaldan : 08-30-2008 at 10:17 AM. |
