In game Window Lag

The game seems to pause for a second every time I open a window, like inventory, skills, etc. It also lags for a second or two when I click each menu item in the main menu. Like if I press on character select, it will pause for 2 seconds and takes me to the menu. Keep in mind that the game ran perfectly for weeks prior to this problem.

I believe the problem might be the TQvault mod, I have been using it just to store sets/relics/charms/artifacts and stuff. The only thing I dont understand is that the game ran fine for a few days after installing it. So I was thinking maybe a file became corrupted or something. I have tried several things, lowering graphics/resolution does nothing, no viruses or spyware, have done registry cleaning, defrag, only other solution I can think of is to reinstall the game.

So if I do reinstall the game, which files do I need to backup to save my characters and also my TQvault items, any help would be appreciated, thank you!!

Do you have a large number of potions (Over 200) stacked or anything like that? If so, reduce the number and it will help.

I did do that, and I reduced it and it seemed to help, thank you so much!
