Default Rubberbanding, stutterint fixed?

A long time ago i tried this game, but to much stuttering ruined the game.

Any news on this now?
Is it fixed?

you need to get the TQ:IT Fan Patch it helps the game so much with bugs so the game is more playable now

I had the fanpatch 1.13RC installed awhile ago but, decided not to use it so I can play over Steam. How much improvement does it make on the "rubber-banding" issue? Are there any test to show?

Hmm tests no. I mean i posted on the TQ:IT FAN PATCH web site of all the FPS i was getting with the new patch. Ok think of it like this. Im new to the whole tq exp. ive only made one char.! and when i first got this game it lagged so bad on the official 1.1 patch that came with IT but since ive been using the fan patches ive been able to tweak the settings and still have great fps and smooth game play. Now the game is still far from being perfect I lag at times. And just like GW said even with a nasa built computer the game will still lag cuz of the coding. so if ur thinking about playing again or w/e i highly RECOMMEND getting the Fan Patches. Plus since TQ.NET is being unstable at the moment. The owners on the fan patch site might be looking into taking over the NETS community so we can really get this game perfect.

Also i have a mid range built computer and it can handle many games like HL2 for instance on high settings. But yet on this game i can only do Med settings. But i hope real soon more and more patches will come out and more and more the game will be better

well the thing that fixed mine completely was the option in tuneup utilities, in memory and cache tab, that changed the use of virtual memory to "always keep in memory" instead of "page as needed".

Please explain in great detail.

Which tuneup utility?
I'm going to check mine and try it out.

I finally fixed my stuttering/rubberbanding problem!!! YES!

First, this is not a easy way and i little to expensive for some... maybe.

I got myself a Asus Striker 2 formula, bought a Q9550 and clocked it for 3.0Ghz.
Before i had an older chipset, nforce 4 i believe.
Now i'm running on 780i.

I'm running on XP with SP2.
Installed the game, installed the fan patch.
Forcesinglemodeprocessor = false.

And there you go, NO MORE STUTTERING!
