Grieving Widow quest bugged for one character

Hi there,

I have a character who is just finishing up act 1 in normal, and I noticed that the quest log didn't have any entry for the Grieving Widow quest out of Delphi. I went back to Delphi and the NPC has a silver exclamation mark, not gold. If I talk to her, she gives the original quest text about how her husband can't cross the Styx, etc., but I cannot get the quest. I've tried grouping with someone who doesn't have the quest (with them hosting the game) and I still can't get the quest; even when he got the quest nothing happened for me. It just doesn't show up in my quest log at all.

Is there anyway to fix that? If not, is that going to cause any problems later? For example, are there rewards for completing every quest in an act?

there are no rewards for 'Done all side-quest' or something like that, and the experience you get isn't much, so don't worry.

But isn't that monster in the parnassus caves? If it is there, just kill it( its a boarman). And then talk to the widow again.

Thanks! Its good to know there isn't a need to complete everything. And we will try killing it again, just in case.

I'd say the main reason her husband can't cross the river Styx is because at the moment Charon is busy building a bridge over it...
