Missing Skill Points?

I just completed the 2 quests in Egypt that send you off to get the eye of something and the staff. I went back to mephis and talked to the guy and it said I received a relic and 2 skill points.

I opened my mastery page and I had 2 skill points but DID NOT assign them to any skills. I closed it and finished listening to the guy talk and when I reopened my mastery page, the skill points were gone! =(

Anyone have this happen to them? Any way to fix this? I hate to have the feeling of always being 2 skill points behind. I alt+f4'ed right when it happened and restarted but the game saved anyway it seemed and I cannot talk to the guy again and the door behind him is open.

Because he gave you attribute points not skill points. The eye of chaos and hand of balance quest gives you 2 attribute points.

If you really did lose 2 skill points then download TQ Defiler and give yourself them back.

Tell us what level you are and where you are in the game and we can tell you how many skill points you should have spent at that point.

If thats true than I really am an idiot.

I'm level 23 with 69 skill points and I just finished the eye and hand quest. Is this where I should be?

Yup... 22 levels gained = 66 skill points

1 for killing Nessus in Sparta
2 for killing the ancient scorpion before the River Nile
