Freezing in the same geographical locations

Having an odd problem with the game freezing for a few seconds in the very same spots every time I play. I've been farming the lower war camp for a couple of days trying to get a staff of the magi, and there's 1 spot that ALWAYS makes me freeze up...it's odd as it's a path between a couple of satyr camps and there's literally nothing there but the path and the walls, no mobs or anything in the spot I freeze up in. Any suggestions? I only have 1 HD so the page-file fix is not an option for me.

It's what we call rubberbanding, and there's not much you can do about it, except get faster computer (mainly CPU). It still occurs with Core 2 Duo at 3,6 GHz, but not nearly as much as with Athlon XP at 2,1 GHz.
