I received my response from my support inquiry, basically a carbon copy of what other people received, telling me to exchange it (already did) or send it to THQ for a replacement (Yeah right shipping $ + 4-8 weeks to get it back). Sent a response asking for a new key but it took 3 days to get this response so I dont expect a reply till later this week.

Was thinking of getting the Gold Edition as a gift for a family mbr and now I'm not so sure...
I was excited to see the Gold version on the shelf at Walmart, this would of been a great way (and season) to introduce the game to New Players. Very unfortunate...

This problem should now be fixed on the backend and your keys should work. For those of you in the US, Immortal Throne should now work for you online without any further changes.
For those of you who purchased the Gold Edition in Canada, there may be an additional issue. On some of the copies, the key printed on the Immortal Throne manual and the key printed on the French Titan Quest manual were swapped. So if you can't install TQIT with the key supplied, try the TQ key from the French TQ manual and you should be all set. I apologize for the inconvenience you've all had - please let me know by posting here if this is still a problem for you and we will keep working it. |
