Yeah, the text says "reward: +5 total damage", but DPS doesn't increase at any point.

No, the game is easy enough as it is. No more +%total damage needed
![]() I think if such a fix would be made, and if it was up to me, it would be +3%/+5%/+8% N/E/L. I actually prefer it the way it is now. But +5%/+10%/+15% would be just too much.

I think those rewards are only so large because they are meant as a reward for completing each difficulty. If you did the quest, you showed that you can go around looking for tough enemies in Hades' Palace, and you killed all bosses in the game but Hades. There's not much left to do anyway, so might as well give you a huge damage bonus. All those 15% you would get in legendary would help with is farming, and of course killing Hades.
Giving the full 30% in normal would destroy that effect, since you still have all of Epic and Legendary to do, and thus would be way too much.

One word of caution: The fixed database.arz causes TQIT to crash in LAN games if some people are playing with the fix and others are not.
I don't know what happens if all players have the fix, because we were desperate to play, so i quickly reverted back to original database.arz. I imagine that internet play is also broken? |

I have got a question. The readme says:
"If you have original unmodded database.arz:" The thing is, I'm not sure. I have installed the nonight mod(disabled atm), crystal room stuttering fix, tower of judgement entrance stuttering fix, monsters xmax, and defiler. Do any of these modify the database.arz? I'm going to backup and try it out now anyway, but if anyone could confirm it would be great, so I can revert if needed before getting into some trouble. |
